Originally Secret Service was formed by the trio Ola Håkansson, Tim Norell and Ulf Wahlberg added by Tony Lindberg (guitar), Leif Johansson (drums) and Leif Paulsén (bass). The trio is still working together in the studio as Secret Service, but on stage there is a new lineup: Ulf and Tim together with Mikael Erlandsson on vocals, Mats Lindberg on bass and Jamie Borger on drums.
Since maybe two years Tim has been working on a new musical ”Flash In The Night”. It’s a drama taking place in Leningrad during the early 80’s and it contains love, hate, death, birth, sorrow and happiness. It also contains most of Secret Service hit songs.
The work is complicated and not finished yet, much because of the musical being in three different languages: Swedish, English and Russian! Listen to this teaser from the demowork and you’ll understand:
