Do you remember that I was talking about Lili&Susie and the smash hit "Oh Mama" that I wrote for them in 1985?
Well, last saturday it was the national Eurovision Song Contest in swedish television. The winner that will represent Sweden in Germany later this spring was a young guy, Erik Saade with a song called "Popular". It's written by Fredrik Kämpe, who is known by other songwriters for stealing instead of writing! And a lot of people think that "Popular" is a rip-off of my old "Oh Mama"!
Look at these two Youtube links and get your own opinion:

Anyway, these questions are so uninteresting compared to what happens in Japan right now! All my thoughts and prays goes to the japanese people in these moments of armageddon.
I end this with playing "Destiny Of Love" a very dark song I wrote when I had some kind of "armageddon feeling" in my mind, many years ago.
Hello there !
Glad to hear some news from you, even if there are the apocalytic events on Japan that remind us how fragile the world has become today.
I've just been watching the 2 links on youtube about your national Eurovision song contest. There are great similitudes on the 2 songs; it's hard to believe that in a world of "copyrights", such things can happen. Also on the second link, I have recognised a sample from Boney M at the beginning. Well, I have to admit, they have been taken a bit from some hits to make their song. There is also a part of "Modern Talking" in this song. The word "stealing" seems to be more appropriate than "inspiration".
About Japan, I watched the videos on internet while listening to the song "Different" you recently released. Just amazing.... cannot find the words to describe it...
Hello! For a long time you any more were not on a site. I am glad to your occurrence. It is a pity to me that so all develops. That the song is stolen, at me personally doubts are not present any. I think that in such cases there is any world practice of the decision similar problem. And if is not present, it is necessary to wish the thief to the composer of good luck as all always comes back back. And you I want to wish do not upset, and the big creative successes.
Definitely a ripoff. Even the lyrics are similiar.
