I have just returned from probably the last holiday this summer.

 

Once again we went down to Provence, southern France. This is the place on earth I love the best so far, but I can´t say I´ve been everywhere yet. France means a lot to me and I have been there yearly now for over 30 years and will hopefully continue.

France is also one of the countries were Secret Service had tremendous success. During a period in the beginning of the 80’s I lived in Paris for a half year. I have lots of good memories from that time and still have friends there. One thing to remember is the spectacular TV show at Olympia in Paris in the beginning of the 80’s. I will tell you the details later when I have a moment over. Anyway, on stage between two songs we received a gold record for over 500 000 sold singles of “Flash In The Night”, which was funny.

But back to Provence, the cradle of earth. I have some special places I have difficulties to be without. One is the valley of Luberon, a small world for itself with small, beautiful villages climbing the hills around. To mention is my favorite; Roussillion with the typical red soil of okra. Another is Bonnieux, an extra ordinary beautiful village with an astonishing view over the valley. I get a lot of inspiration when I´m there, new songs are born and idea´s are flowing

So if you have a chance, try it!

Ulf, thank you for sharing your travel impressions and for this little video with you guys playing 'F.I.T.N' live in France. Look forward to seeing more Secret Service's studio and live videos unveiled :-)

COOL!  It's so interesting, Ulf. I already want to visit Provence too. Hope to have a chance one time.
